Richard McCleary

Richard McCleary has represented only claimants seeking Social Security disability benefits for 36 years. He has tried cases with the Social Security Office of Hearings Operations hearing offices all over the United States and represented claimants at all levels of appeal. He has practiced Social Security disability law both as a sole practitioner and as a member of a law firm. His experience allows him to zealously represent his clients and bring a seasoned perspective and a caring manner to unique disability claims. He graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1990 it is a member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Over the years Richard’s experience has earned him the trust of thousands of claimants. Richard has extensive experience trying cases specifically in the New England area with Administrative Law Judges from the Boston, Springfield, Lawrence, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, and New Haven, Connecticut hearing offices. He has also tried disability cases in New York City and Albany, New York.

His interests outside of the office include barbequing ribs for his neighbors, gardening and helping his son with his beekeeping business. (From inside the truck of course.)
