Gianpiere Alcantara

Gianpiere Alcantara is an Associate Attorney specializing in personal injury and workers’ compensation. Gianpiere earned his Juris Doctorate from New England Law | Boston in 2023, where he was a member of the First-Generation Student Association and earned multiple recognitions in the Dean’s list before being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2023.

Gianpiere received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Sociology, and Philosophy & Law from the University of Massachusetts Boston with honors in 2019. During his time at UMass Boston, Gianpiere was a member of National Criminal Justice Honor Society and was a founding member of the Pre-Law Student Association. Gianpiere also participated in the Student Immigrant Alliance Club and Casa Latina, a non-profit student organization that reinforces the Hispanic community’s contribution to society and is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and vibrant community.

Gianpiere is a first-generation Peruvian American who was born and raised in Boston by an immigrant family that migrated to the US in the 1980s. Upon his admittance to the Massachusetts Bar, Gianpiere path to becoming an attorney and his family’s journey was featured in an article in El Mundo I Boston magazine. Gianpiere is heavily involved in the Hispanic community and was recognized with an Outstanding Latino award in 2023 at the City of Lynn’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration where he also received an official citation from the Massachusetts Senate, Lynn’s City Council, and the Lynn Mayor’s office. In 2024, Gianpiere was also recognized by the Latino Council of Massachusetts and was awarded that year’s Latino Scholar award.

Before joining the firm, Gianpiere worked for two primarily personal injury firms gaining experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal, probate, and family law. During undergrad and law school, Gianpiere worked as a paralegal and law clerk gaining valuable experience in personal injury by negotiating settlements for accident victims and injured workers across Massachusetts.
